Our School Policies

School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference.

Westcott Primary School has a program of regular review for all policies.
Our policies help us to provide consistent high standards across the school.

Our School Council

School councillors 2023/2024

Our school council plays a pivotal role in making our institution a vibrant and inclusive community. We are a group of dedicated children who are committed to improving the school and ensuring that Westcott Primary is a place where everyone’s voice is heard.

Who We Are
The Student Council is made up of children who have been elected to represent their peers.  Our mission is to empower each other to have a say in shaping their educational environment and to foster a sense of belonging and pride within the school community.
What We Do
Some of our responsibilities include:
Organising Events: The Student Council helps to organise exciting events that bring students together- we create memorable moments for everyone.
Promoting Inclusivity: We work diligently to ensure that every student feels welcome and valued at our school.

Fundraising: Our council helps to raise funds to support school-wide initiatives, projects, and events.

We meet on a regular basis and discuss any topics that have been raised. Once a council meeting is over we will feed back to our fellow class mates any information that they need to know.
