Welcome
At Westcott Primary School, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, understood and valued. Our approach to education is rooted in strong relationships, high expectations and a deep commitment to knowing every child as an individual. We work closely in partnership with parents and carers, recognising that children thrive when home and school work together with trust and shared purpose.
We are a proud member of the Hull Collaborative Academy Trust, working alongside other schools to share expertise, strengthen practice and continually improve outcomes for all children. Being part of the Trust enables us to collaborate, reflect and grow, while remaining firmly rooted in our local community.
At Westcott, we place inclusion, consistency and care at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about nurturing confident, independent and resilient learners, supported by positive adult relationships and high-quality teaching. Our school provides meaningful experiences that are engaging, enriching and memorable, helping children to develop self-belief, curiosity and a love of learning.
Safeguarding and wellbeing are central to our work. All staff and volunteers share a collective responsibility to protect and promote the welfare of our children, ensuring that Westcott is a safe, calm and supportive place to learn and grow. We aim to create an environment where children feel secure, listened to and supported to learn from their experiences.
We are incredibly proud of our school community and the children who fill it with energy, kindness and character. We hope our website gives you a sense of who we are and what matters to us at Westcott. If you would like any further information, or wish to visit the school, please do not hesitate to get in touch — we would be delighted to welcome you.
